The Ministry of Health surveillance team together with different security agencies in Uganda are tracking a Tanzanian driver who arrived at Mutukula border on Thursday from Dar es-Salaam.
The Ministry officials at the border took his blood samples to Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) in Entebbe.
The 34- year- old cargo transporter would later test positive. However, he had been allowed to proceed to deliver goods to its destination.
Ministry of Health says the driver is being hunted to return him to Tanzania for treatment.
Earlier the Ministry said the patient was from the Ugandan community. The institution regrets the misinformation.
