Following the outbreak of deadly Coronavirus in Africa, four foreign nationals have been isolated at Entebbe Hospital on Sunday evening, Ministry of Health has said.
They were picked up from Entebbe International Airport after presenting with flu and cough symptoms by our surveillance teams.
“Samples have been collected and are being tested at UVRI,” said Emmanuel Ainebyona, the Ministry’s spokesman.
The Ministry of Health will inform the public accordingly.
In addition, the Ministry requests the general public to remain calm and follow the provided preventive measures.
“There is no confirmed case of Coronavirus in the country’” he clarified.
