All 15 Occupants Killed after Taxi Rams into Stationary Lorry on Busia- Namayingo Highway.

The wreckage of the tax which claimed 15 lives.

Fifteen people have been confirmed to have died on spot after a commuter  taxi they were traveling in rammed into a stationary Tata killing all the occupants on spot.

Taxi Reg number UBD 089A that was traveling from Namayingo to Kampala rammed into a stationary sugarcane Tata reg number UWP 616 at Imanyiro village.

All the bodies of the deceased were taken to Mayuge health Centre IV for post mortem examination.

The cause of the accident at this stage is not yet established but inquiries are underway.

Busoga East Regional Police spokesperson ASP James Mubi confirmed this incident.
