Supporters of Hon Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine are determined to use any means to fight for political space as 2021 polls draw nearer.
From engraving currency notes with a pro-Bobi Wine campaign message to writing on raw food stuffs in markets appealing to Ugandans to vote for Bobi Wine in the next Presidential elections.
Pictures of meat, eggs, cabbages, fish, meat and bunches of Banana labelled with their leader’s name Bobi Wine have been doing rounds on social media.
Labelling items seems to be the new tactic of canvassing support between Bobi Wine and President Yoweri Kaguta’s supporters.
The two factions were a few days ago warned by the Central Bank against defacing the currency notes with names of their particular candidates in a bid to appeal to the public for support.
The Central Bank announced that Police would deal with whoever is found liable for defacing the shillings.
The battle has since been taken to food, a strategy that has not only attracted ridicule but left many Ugandans in wonder world.
