The Aviation Police has Thursday barred 12 girls from traveling to Saudi Arabia intending to work as house maids.
Police has since released a statement
On the 8th day of October 2019 at around 1300hrs at departures Entebbe International airport 12 girls were intercepted by Aviation Police, intending to travel to Saudi Arabia to go and work as house maids and all of them were putting on Uniforms (white T-shirts with Arabic writings) purporting to be a company where as not (it’s a ghost company).
They were all on one way ticket aboard Emirates (Fly Emirates).
On interviewing the victims it was discovered that they were recruited by Awali Umaru and one only identified as Yasin all businessmen in Kampala who briefed them from Freedom City and later put them in a taxi to the airport for departure.
A General inquiry file has been opened to investigate circumstance under which these girls were recruited.
The girls were recruited from various parts of the country and they they include:

3. Nalumu Zulaika
4. Nakafero Josephine
5. Nantale Margret
6. Nanangwe fina
7. Nakalema Jesca
8.Nanyondo Giriyida
9. Nakalema Naume
10. Nabasumba Josephine
11. Tiperu Scovia
12. Ndibaza Annet
They are currently being held at Aviation Police in Entebbe.
