Sudhir Ruparelia’s son Rajiv Ruparelia has scoffed at romours that his father has died.
This afternoon social media was awash with claims that the business mogul passed away at the age of 61.
When we contacted Sudhir’s son, Rajiv Ruparelia to find out if everything was ok, he said he was having dinner with the family including his dad and shall call back later.
“We are having dinner now,” said Rajiv on Saturday night.
Family friends frowned upon the fake news.
The story appeared on a fake news website, also referred to as hoax news sites.
Such sites deliberately publish hoaxes, propaganda, and disinformation purporting to be real news — often using social media to drive web traffic and amplify their effect.
Unlike news satire, fake news websites seek to mislead, rather than entertain, readers for financial, political, or other gain.
Sudhir spent the better part of Friday at Crane Chambers and was spotted at Speke Apartments today Saturday.
