Uganda ICT Companies Embrace Microsoft CSP Platform Training Led By First Distributors

First Distribution who are the leading Microsoft Solutions distributors across the East Africa region have continued their trainings aimed at giving their partners and distributors more avenues using Microsoft Cloud Platform enhanced revenues. The team engaged Uganda partners on a training session that included Microsoft Solutions set-up model for doing business and how to continually engage their customers.

The latest training happened last Thursday at the prestigious Marriott Protea Hotel in Kampala where leading partners from IT companies including Kazinga Channel, Standard ICT, Elaabs, Computer Revolution, Apenture Technologies attended the three hour session led by the First Distribution Team Distribution Manager for East Africa Joseph Ongero.

“I think this is a first step in making the CSP more of a general-purpose platform for customers,” said Maria, for Microsoft’s who heads the Region’s Microsoft Support services.

First Distribution’s Business Development Manager charged with the growth of the CSP platform in the Region, Joseph added, “The Microsoft Solutions training offers a comprehensive bundle of services for building connected applications across a range of devices and physical foot prints. As an Azure MVP instructor, I’m super-excited about our content collaboration with Microsoft, and can’t wait to see what we build together. These trainings will continue to happen and I urge our partners to spare time and learn how they can grow their revenues from offering our customers valued added services”

The training helped partners across ICT companies in Uganda get better knowledge on how to grow their customer base and improved skills on cloud solutions while generating leads that bring better revenues for their companies.
