A Taste of Festive Season: Munyonyo’s Pool Pavilion Lunch Setting Signals Grand New Year’s Eve Plans

Speke Resort Munyonyo has unveiled an elegant glimpse into the festive experience awaiting guests at its iconic Pool Pavilion, with the lunch setting showcasing the level of detail, luxury, and culinary excellence that will define this year’s end-of-year celebrations. Beautifully arranged tables, festive décor, and a lavish buffet spread reflect the resort’s commitment to offering world-class hospitality during the festive season.

The Pool Pavilion lunch setup, captured ahead of the celebrations, highlights a refined dining atmosphere designed to blend comfort with sophistication.

From neatly dressed tables overlooking the lush gardens to an expansive buffet featuring freshly baked breads, gourmet desserts, and a wide variety of international and local delicacies, the setting sets the tone for a memorable festive staycation at Munyonyo.

This lunch experience forms part of Speke Resort’s broader festive season offerings, as the resort prepares to host one of Uganda’s most anticipated New Year’s Eve celebrations.

The Pool Pavilion will transform from a serene daytime dining venue into the heart of the New Year’s Eve party on December 31st. On the night, guests will enjoy a Chef’s Special New Year’s Buffet Dinner, live band performances, DJ entertainment, a complimentary welcome drink, and a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Victoria.

Entrance to the Pool Pavilion New Year’s Eve experience is priced at UGX 250,000 for adults and UGX 135,000 for children below 12.

Additional celebration options include the Nyanja/Lake Terrace, offering a relaxed lakeside ambience with fire dancers, acrobats, DJs, and fireworks, as well as the Lake Grill, where music star Sheebah Karungi will headline a lakeside concert at an accessible entry fee of UGX 20,000.

With room rates starting from USD 176 for a single room, guests can turn the festivities into a luxurious staycation. Management has encouraged early bookings, noting that spaces for both the festive dining experiences and New Year’s Eve celebrations are limited and expected to fill up fast.
