The Ruparelia Foundation has launched its first outreach of the season at the Ghetto Research Lab in Mulago–Kamwokya, delivering a message of compassion, unity, and remembrance.
Led by Sheena Ruparelia, daughter of Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia and Chairperson of the Foundation, the team arrived with gift hampers and spent the day engaging with families, sharing encouraging words, cutting cake with residents, and spreading joy among children.
Founded on the pillars of giving, community empowerment, and uplifting the vulnerable, the Ruparelia Foundation has long been at the forefront of charitable interventions across Uganda.

The outreach carried even deeper meaning as it was held in honour of the late Rajiv Ruparelia, whose selfless spirit and unwavering generosity continue to inspire the Foundation’s work.
Rajiv, remembered for his warm interactions and his ability to touch every life he encountered, remains the heartbeat behind many of the Foundation’s humanitarian initiatives.
“Our outreach is a reflection of Rajiv’s legacy bringing hope, love, and connection wherever we go,” Sheena noted.

The Foundation pledged to continue expanding its community programmes, keeping Rajiv’s memory alive through acts of kindness that uplift the most underserved communities.
