Ruparelia Group unveils Pearl Tower One, Kampala’s newest Grade-A office Icon

RR Pearl Tower One

Meera Investments Ltd, the real estate arm of the Ruparelia Group, has officially completed Pearl Tower One, a landmark addition to Kampala’s skyline and the first phase of the ambitious Pearl Business Park. Situated at the strategic intersection of Yusuf Lule and Old Kiira Roads, the 19-storey tower sets a new benchmark for Grade-A office buildings in Uganda.

Designed by architectural firm Symbion Uganda, Pearl Tower One boasts a built-up area of approximately 37,000 square meters, of which 24,000 square meters are premium lettable office spaces spread across 16 floors. The tower is equipped to accommodate multinational corporations and high-end enterprises seeking world-class work environments in central Kampala.

A key highlight of the development is its three levels of underground parking, which can hold over 360 vehicles, easing the city’s growing demand for secure and convenient parking spaces. Inside, tenants will benefit from high-speed elevators, dual fibre-optic internet connections, and a fully automated building management system for efficiency and comfort.

Pearl Tower One also prioritizes safety and reliability. The building features state-of-the-art fire suppression systems including sprinkler installations, extinguishers, and foam stations, as well as a large water reserve tank. Additionally, over 170 CCTV cameras and strict access control systems have been installed to ensure 24/7 security.

In terms of sustainability and operational reliability, the tower comes with dual water storage systems, 3-phase electricity, and a backup generator system capable of powering the building for up to four days. Tenants also have access to a fitness centre, sauna, and other wellness amenities, reinforcing the tower’s appeal as a complete “work-life” environment.

Pearl Tower One is the first completed structure within the wider Pearl Business Park, a transformative project covering 18 to 20 acres. When fully developed, the park will feature nine additional towers, a five-star hotel, a modern shopping mall, a hospital, and other commercial amenities—positioning it as Uganda’s largest mixed-use real estate project.

With Kampala facing growing demand for high-quality office space, the completion of Pearl Tower One marks a significant milestone for both Meera Investments and the capital’s development trajectory. Leasing for office spaces is now open, attracting interest from embassies, financial institutions, and multinational firms aiming to anchor themselves in the heart of the city.

This latest achievement reinforces the Ruparelia Group’s continued leadership in shaping Uganda’s real estate landscape.
