The final farewell to Rajiv Ruparelia, the 35-year-old son of Ugandan billionaire Sudhir Ruparelia, will take place on Tuesday.

Rajiv, who tragically passed away in a fatal car accident on Saturday, May 3, 2025, will be cremated at 2:30 PM at Lugogo.

Rajiv’s wife, Naiya Ruparelia, and their young daughter are expected to join the Ugandan family for the sendoff.

The couple, who has been living in London, will jet in from the UK to pay their last respects to the deceased.

Other relatives from across the world will also join the Ruparelia family for the sendoff.

The Indian community in Uganda will be present to pay their last respects to Rajiv, who was known for his business acumen and philanthropic efforts.

As the Managing Director of the Ruparelia Group, Rajiv played a significant role in Uganda’s economic landscape.

The sendoff promises to be a grand affair, with many expected to attend to bid farewell to the young entrepreneur.

Rajiv’s untimely death has sparked an outpouring of condolences from friends, colleagues, and public figures.
