Here is City pastor Clifford Senyonjo who Shot his Daughter’s boyfriend

Suspect: Pastor Clifford Senyonjo

The true identity of Pastor Clifford Senyonjo, the religious leader involved in a shocking shooting incident on Christmas Eve, has been revealed.

Pastor Senyonjo, was arrested after shooting his daughter’s boyfriend, 24-year-old drummer Allan Muyimbwa, in the legs.

However, in a development that has left many questioning the justice system, the pastor was released without trial, despite the severity of the crime and the victim’s critical condition.

On December 24, 2024, at around 7:15 PM, Pastor Clifford Senyonjo’s home in Kikumbi zone, Bunamwaya Parish, Wakiso District, became the scene of a brutal attack. According to the police report, Allan had visited the pastor’s home when the pastor arrived. It was alleged that Senyonjo’s daughter ushered Allan into a guest room, where the pastor followed and shot the young man in both legs using his licensed firearm.

Officers from Kikumbi Police Station arrived at the scene after being alerted by a neighbor, finding Allan lying in a pool of blood.

They recovered the pastor’s firearm (registered under gun number B1965702983) and two cartridges at the scene. The victim was immediately issued with a medical form (PF 3) for treatment, and an investigation into the shooting was launched.

Despite the gravity of the situation, Pastor Senyonjo was inexplicably released without being tried in court.

Reports suggest that the pastor may have paid a significant amount to the arresting officers to secure his freedom.

Meanwhile, Allan, the victim, remains in critical condition at the hospital, while the case has seemingly stalled, raising concerns about whether justice will ever be served.

The pastor’s release has drawn sharp criticism from the public, with many wondering how such a serious crime could be swept under the rug. The delay in bringing Pastor Senyonjo to trial has fueled speculation that his wealth and influence might have played a role in his unexpected release.

Pastor Senyonjo was charged with attempted murder but later released without trial

When asked about the pastor’s release, Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango expressed unawareness of the situation.

Onyango stated, “I wasn’t aware that the pastor was released without trial, but if he was, there could be a reason. I will find out.”

This response has done little to calm public outrage, with many demanding an explanation for why a person with such a violent criminal act under their belt would not be held accountable in court. The lack of action from the authorities has only intensified fears that Pastor Senyonjo may be using his power and resources to avoid facing justice.
