The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) continues to champion technological innovation and knowledge transfer as it proudly inaugurates its 37th Technology Innovation Support Centre at the renowned Centre for Innovations and Technology Transfer at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST).
The launch ceremony, graced by the URSB officials led by Manager Patents and Industrial Designs Mr. James Tonny Lubwama and Vice Chancellor Professor Pauline Byakika Kibwika, marks a significant milestone in the URSB’s mission to foster a culture of innovation and technological advancement across the nation.
With a commitment to empowering local talents and nurturing groundbreaking ideas, the Technology Innovation Support Centre at Mbarara University of Science and Technology will serve as a dynamic hub for collaborative research, knowledge exchange, and technology commercialization. It will provide a conducive environment for students, faculty, and the community at large to ideate, innovate, and transform creative concepts into tangible technological solutions.
Commenting on this launch, Mr. James Lubwama who represented Registrar General Ms. Mercy K. Kainobwisho expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The expansion of our Technology Innovation Support Centre network to Mbarara University of Science and Technology underscores our dedication to nurturing a thriving ecosystem of technological entrepreneurship and advancement.
