Socialite Don Nasser, real name Nasser Nduhukire, who has been on the run following allegations of rape and sexual exploitation, has been arrested in Kenya.
According to security sources, Nasser was captured on Saturday after evading Uganda Police for several days. He was found hiding in Kenya, and the process of repatriating him to Uganda is already underway.
Nasser, who had earlier fled his Kamwokya residence after a police raid, is accused of drugging and raping young women, including the daughter of a police officer. Police have been investigating claims of his involvement in trafficking, sexual exploitation, and drug use, with multiple victims reportedly in their late teens.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement, but this arrest marks a major development in the ongoing case. Nasser is expected to face charges of rape and defilement upon his return to Uganda. Despite his previous denials and attempts to use his wealth and connections to suffocate the case, his arrest could pave the way for further revelations and justice for the victims.
