Keddi Foundation, a non profit organization by Hon. Steven Keddi, has donated $30,000, (approximately Shs111 million) towards the completion of Nakaloke Centre mosque.
This happened during the marathon fundraising ceremony held at Nakaloke field in Mbale City on Saturday 30th Dec 2023.
The funds were handed over to the organizers by the guest of honor for the Nakaloke Centre Mosque construction marathon 2023, C.E.O of Keddi Foundation, Hon. Keddi Steven Zulubah.
This initiative was started by the late Dr. Hassan Galiwango together with the Salam charity.
In his speech, Steven Keddi noted that as Keddi Foundation, its overarching goal is to foster success among individuals from diverse backgrounds, religions, or tribes with a shared commitment; therefore he was prompted to also be part of the fundraising drive.
“Keddi Foundation was founded in 2019, By, I Keddi Steven, a Ugandan businessman and minister of God who lays down my life to transform Uganda and Africa from pressing life issues. This mosque is going to serve millions of Ugandans”- Keddi said.
He further said that as Keddi Foundation, they are dedicated to facilitating the growth and empowerment of economically disadvantaged individuals, and other institutions at large.
“Our overarching goal as Keddi Foundation is to foster success among individuals from diverse backgrounds, with a shared commitment to creating a more equitable and prosperous world for all”-Keddi.
While giving his remarks, Mr. Kin Karisa, who was part of the organizers revealed that they had winded up Nakaloke Mobilization with a fundraising run, and raised a good sum.
