Jackson Mugisha, a Rwandan citizen staying in Uganda is missing with unconfirmed social media reports suggesting he was arrested by unknown security agency.
According to information circulating on social media, Jackson commonly known as Papa was picked by plain-clothed security operatives on Tuesday night from Torino Bar in Kololo, Kampala.
His crime remains unknown to his family and friends.
However, another message on WhatsApp suggested that Jackson was involved in the withdrawal of shs 500 million from Equity Bank.
This was part of the money stolen from Cairo Bank.
“Mugisha Jackson arrested at around 2300hrs from Torino bar in Kampala. He was involved in the withdrawal of 500m from Equity bank which had been transferred from Cairo Bank. He has information about all the attempts in other banks,” the message forwarded multiple times on WhatsApp reads.
