City lawyer Wambi Andrew appointed Mbale Heroes chairman

Andrew Wambi in the middle is the new Mbale Heroes football club chairman

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Mbale Heroes football club on Saturday named Kampala based lawyer Andrew Wambi  the new chairman.

Mr Wambi according, to the club will now give Mbale Heroes a strategic direction in achieving its mission of qualifying for Uganda Premier League next season.

Wambi has been contributing immensely to the club’s elevation to the Big League.

Wambi also used the AGM occasion to name his executive committee.

Vice Chairperson Business- Geoffrey Ojok.

Vice Chairperson Governance – Uthman Mugoya.

Vice Chairperson Football – Badru Chemusto.

Further, a budget estimate of shs 649, 850,000 was approved for the club at Mbale city stadium.

Also the FDC bigwig Hon Nandala Mafabi was named the club patron. Mafabi is the MP of Budadiri West in Sironko district.

Mafabi has a committee of members who include:

Mr Wambede Stephen (Suwa).

Hon. Karim Masaba (MP Mbale City Industrial Division ).

Mr Wamono George Bweri.

Eng. Alito George.

Mr Wambede Isma.
