Minister of State for Elderly Affairs Hon Dominic Gidudu Mafwabi signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with his baby mama Northburg Nadunga on November 26, 2021.
The MoU was mediated by Godfrey Eliam Kilawa.
“This family memorandum of understanding is drawn as a consequence of the need arising out of strengthening the family ties of the above mentioned persons having realised the need to build a relationship based on friendship, cooperation and forgiveness,” reads part of the document which TrumpetNews has obtained.
The three parties agreed that the understanding called for mutual respect and hinged upon repentance and forgiveness.
In the MoU Mr Gidudu committed to undertake the following:
To register a company for his baby mama and the children with initial capital of shs 50 million.
To buy Nadunga a residential house not later than 6 month from the date of signing the agreement with titles in her name.
To send a monthly allowance of shs 1.5 million.
To undertake a responsibility to change household items including but not limited to fridges, TVs, beddings, utensils into names and possession of the biological children.
On the other hand Nadunga solemnly agreed to perform the following;
Maintain her duties as a mother, allow Mr Gidudu full access to his children, close all cases she had opened against Gidudu, desist from making statements that injure the reputation of the minister and to stop using any channels apart from the mediator to reach out to the minister.
However, Nadunga later denied consenting to this MoU in a letter she sent to Gidudu’s superior, Hon Betty Amongi.
Speaking to this website, Gidudu acknowledged that he signed the MoU for the sake of pleasing the woman he refers to as “mother of my children.”
The duo have two children together, a girl aged 12 and a 10 year old boy.
Nadunga accuses the Minister of misconduct and deserting his family home.
