Two lead petitioners, Hon Fox Odoi Oywelowo and Frank Mugisha have asked to be erased from a constitution petition filed on Monday challenging the newly passed anti- homosexuality law.
After the Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anita Among announced that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, 9 Ugandans who include Hon Fox Odoi, Frank Mugisha, Pepe Onziema, Jackline Kemigisa, Andrew Mwenda, Linda Mutesi, Jane Nasiimbwa and Hon Paul Buchana Kwizera filed a constitution petition seeking to annul the law.
However, a day later two of the petitioners Fox Odoi and Frank Mugisha have informed the lead counsels Adrian Jjuuko and Onyango Owor that they should be excluded from the petition.
Below is the letter:

Fox Odoi-Oywelowo and Dr. Frank Mugisha (hereinafter referred to as our clients) on whose instructions we address you as follows: Our clients have informed us that they did not give instructions to file Constitutional Petition Number 015 of 2023.
