A man of Indian origin only identified as Uttam has been shot and killed by a yet to be identified gunman.
The shooting happened on Friday afternoon inside Yako Bank which is located at Raja Chambers on Parliamentary Avenue a few meters from Parliament of Uganda.
The victim according to reports is a brother to Raj, a popular money lender in Kampala City.
The deceased has also been dealing in the money lending business.
Eyewitnesses claim the shooter was dressed in a police uniform.
Police is yet to issue a statement.
