Citizens have launched a campaign exposing unscrupulous officers working at Entebbe Airport that have made a kill out of milking travelers.
These criminals have made lives of passengers very difficult as many have missed flights despite possessing all necessary travel documents.
Mid last week, helpless Ugandans, unable to get justice took the matter to the public court through social media, and it turned out that majority had been victims of these merciless, rogue, corrupt, unpatriotic officials.
The crusaders flooded internet with pictures and videos taken stealthily as the officials openly asked for bribes from passengers.
Against that backdrop, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) which facilitates airport operations along with other service providers, issued a statement acknowledging that indeed many cases have been registered related to extortion.
UCCA further indicated that not all corrupt officials work for aviation but others belong to a number of other organizations at Entebbe.
This website obtained a list of names of corrupt officials who have since been dismissed, charged or cautioned depending on the weight of the complaint.
