UPDF General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has vowed to crush assailants who target security installations in the recent spate of attacks.

In their numerous raids, the unknown gunmen have made away with guns, prompting authorities to conclude that there is a rising armed rebel movement intending to launch a war on the NRM government using military might.

In the latest attack on UPDF soldiers and Police officers conducting night patrol in Kapeeka Town Council, some of the assailants were hunted and gunned down while other trailed and arrested.

The assailant intercepted boarding Burundi bound bus, identified as Muwonge Salongo later committed suicide inside Tororo Police Station.

As most high-ranking military officials remain silent, Gen Muhoozi has come out to warn the attackers that they are inviting hell to their lives.

The former Special Forces Commander and Commander Land Forces (CLF), issued a warning on Tuesday.

He also didn’t spare thugs vandalizing electricity towers causing nationwide blackout.

“I want to warn the fools that are attacking our police officers and blowing up our electricity pylons. You are inviting hell into your lives,” he tweeted.

He reminded the hitmen that he loves fighting.

“I think they know who I am. I love to fight. I have been fighting ever since I was a child. I will break them to pieces if they do not heed my warnings.”

While still serving as CLF, Muhoozi warned violent Karamojong warriors against fermenting violence while engaging in cattle rustling or else they risked perishing.

Indeed Muhoozi deployed commandos who brought sanity in the region.

Late last year he, together with UPDF leadership started an operation code named SHUJA against ADF rebels in neighbouring DRC which has been a sucess.
