On December 9, precisely about three weeks from now, all road lead to Kyanja, an upscale suburb of Kampala as Fancy Lounge celebrates its 3rd anniversary.
Fancy needs no directions, its strategically located on the main road of Kisaasi- Kyanja, 100 meters before the new Shell Petrol station.
Started in December 2019, Fancy has transformed into one of the popular night spots in Kampala, hosting corporate functions, birthday parties, family dinner, among others.
This is so, because of its wider lounge, ample parking space and modern washing bay with state of the art equipment used to clean cars. The personal safety is very much guaranteed considering the tight security at the premises.
Fancy, has cut a niche as top bar in Kyanja with legitimately great food.
You can’t make a mistake to mention Fancy and forget food, with its kitchen open 24/7 preparing all tribes of meals; breakfast, lunch, dinner and excitingly enough, at a friendly price.
Whereas most bars hiked their prices as food prices skyrocketed, the management of Fancy maintained its rates.
“We are loyal to our clients. Everyone is struggling but that doesn’t mean that people should not eat and drink. That is why we considered our clients- old and new who stood with us during harsh Covid times. So we decided to pay back,” said Patience Nakachwa, the proprietor of the Lounge.
And therefore when heading out for a drink at Fancy, customers are reminded that the bar has a great food menu too.
Ms Nakachwa told TrumpetNews that come December 9, the bar has organized exciting non-stop entertaining sessions for the people.
“We have Janzi Band which will perform for all the band lovers,” she said.

Lately Fancy hosts VIPI band every first Thursday of the month which so far does magic.
