The Electoral Commission (EC) Chairman Justice Simon Byabakama has Thursday afternoon hosted a delegation from opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) at the head offices in Kampala.
The delegation was led by FDC electoral body chairperson Toterebuka Bamwenda and the deputy secretary general in charge of administration Harold Kaija who were on a courtesy visit.
During their interaction with Byabakama and his commissioners, he affirmed that the Commission is committed to delivering its Constitutional mandate in all electoral processes without any form of compromise.
The FDC delegation commended EC for providing platforms for transparency during different electoral activities.
Many times, opposition leaders have attacked EC claiming its biased and can’t organize a fairer and freer election.
