Gen. Muhoozi: I can Badly defeat Bobi Wine in an Election

Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba

The Presidential  advisor on special operations Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba is very optimistic he would defeat opposition leader Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi, if the pair competed in an election.

Muhoozi made the revelation on Sunday night on Twitter where he has so far garnered close to 600000 followers, making him one of the most followed government official.

Referring to his stage name, “Kabobi”, Muhoozi said he doesn’t fear an election against the musician- turned politician.

“I don’t fear an election against Kabobi. I would beat him very badly,” tweeted Muhoozi, his revelation has since sparked off mixed reactions on social media platforms with his supporters sharing widely the tweet.

Commonly known as MK, the UPDF commander of land forces said if Kyagulanyi contests again he will be defeated.

“We beat him in 2021, we will beat him again,” he said.

The First Son, who many Ugandans refer to as “our generational leader” further tweeted saying “they” would never allow Kyagulanyi be President of Uganda.

“Kabobi should know that we will never allow him to be President of this country,” reads the second tweet.

Last month, a section of the youth in Bunyoro subregion implored President Yoweri Museveni, a Commander in Chief of UPDF to allow MK retire from the army so as to plan to takeover Presidency.

Museveni responded to the request by thanking the youth for being receptive and celebrating MK’s 48 birthday.
