The parents of Sandra Teta, wife to struggling musician Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo have begged the Rwandan Embassy in Uganda to intervene and save their daughter.
This website reliably understands, that Sandra’s both parents jetted into the country after learning of her ordeal on internet having been brutalised by the singer.
However, their efforts to accessible Sandra were thwarted by Weasel’s elder brother Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleon who has since embarked on damage control by moving with the frail in-law, doused in makeup and hooded jackets to cover the wounds and her swollen face.
Further, in an investigation conducted by this news site, Chameleon allegedly took away Sandra’s children as a leverage to save his young brother from going into jail.
A source who asked not to be mentioned, revealed that Sandra’s family on failing to get access sought the intervention of the embassy and on Wednesday the embassy officials met with director of CID Tom Magambo about the matter.
“It was a closed door meeting, we don’t know what they discussed,” said a source.
TrumpetNews has also obtained a complaint by Sandra’s close friends they lodged at Katwe Police stations over her condition.
In the complaint, they allege that Sandra Teta has gone missing and have failed to trace her through her mobile phone number 0785140844.
“We were told that she was tortured and she is currently in hiding and since we couldn’t find her it is difficult to find out the truth,” part of the statement reads.
Neither Chameleon nor Weasel could be reached to substantiate on the allegations.
Efforts to reach Sandra Teta on her known phone number were unsuccessful.
However, Daniella Atim, Chameleon’s wife who has been at the vanguard of fighting for Sandra freedom has exposed the private conversation with her husband warning him of imminent danger shouldn’t he step up to save Sandra from his rouge brother.
In a video that has been viral on internet, Weasel is filmed carrying his children outside Nomad Bar in Kansanga as he shamelessly accused his wife of cheating.
It is believed that was the source of brutality meted out on Sandra.
Sandra has been working at Nomad bar as a host as a means of supporting her family after Weasel failed on his responsibilities, resorted to alcohol and drugs while battling depression following the death of Radio alias Moses Sekibogo in 2017.
