Breaking: Museveni appoints Sandor Walusimbi new Spokesperson as Nabusayi quits State House

On Sunday, July 30, 2022 President Yoweri Museveni held a closed door meeting with Sandor Walusimbi, the spokesperson of State House Anti-Corruption Unit.

Shortly after the meeting, news broke out that Walusimbi had been appointed to replace long-serving Lindah Wamboka Nabusayi who acted as Museveni’s deputy press secretary before she assumed the main office when Don Wanyama left for New Vision last year.

Museveni sent Wanyama to New Vision to succeed Robert Kabushenga.

However, since last year, Ms Nabusayi had been working without a formal contract although she issued a letter of appreciation to the President for choosing to occupy the office.

Those who have previously worked for Museveni say his strength lies patience and time.

Whereas he had not formally awarded Nabusayi a contract, Museveni was monitoring her executing her duties.

The State House Press Secretary office is very crucial in today- today activities of the Presidency.

Source say, that Museveni, meanwhile had deployed communication experts to monitor and evaluate Nabusayi’s performance before he could formally hire her services.

Whereas she had impressed the principal with how she mobilized journalists, circulated media alerts and releases, rallied all government officials who were supposed to attend Museven’s live national addresses, Nabusayi had her major weakness.

“She never picked up phone calls which is a major communication channel in State House,” said a source.

Information obtained indicates that this habit which the President termed as “bad behavior” made Nabusayi miss out on many things.

This website has since established that Museveni sent emissaries to Nabusayi to find out why she normally never picks her phone calls.

The emissaries also revealed to her that the principal was unhappy and had since decided to transfer her to another department.

However, media reports earlier suggested that Lindah had been retired from State House.

Meanwhile Sandor Walusimbi had lobbied for the job through a powerful First Family member and when vacuum popped up, the President asked to meet him since he was aware of him and also considering that his father was famous with the President’s circles, he was the right candidate.

Sandor Walusimbi appointment takes immediate effect.
