City lawyer Paul Wanyoto has lodged a complaint at the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) accusing his blood sister of threatening to end his life.
In a letter dated July 11, seen by this website and received by CID, Mr Wanyoto, the Mbale city land board chairman alleges that his sister has vowed to ‘sort me once and for all.’
Over the weekend, Wanyoto hosted a number of guests at his residence in a thanksgiving service as he remembered his departed parents.
His sisters Lydia, Harriet Wanyoto, Agnes Wanyoto and Sarah Wanyoto attended the function.
However, on two days later (July 11) Lydia Wanyoto was captured in the media after she stormed her brother’s claiming for land.

I make reference to the above captioned matter and bring to your attention the following
and seek your action;
That I am an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, practising as Managing Paftner at Web Advocates & Solicitors situated at Plot 1,Acacia-Kololo.
That I am also the Chairman of the Mbale City Land Board and therefore a leader at Mbale City and a permanent resident of Kilulu-Nabweya, Northern Division, Mbale City which is my ancestral home.
That for the last three years, since I expressed interest in running for Political Office as MP, my elder sister above captioned has threatened to kill me and I have lived in fear since then and documented it by way of e-mail correspondences to her and copy to others (See e-mails sent to her on 03/O2/2020 and on 23/O5/2020 attached here) to which I received no response.
On Monday 11 July 2022, she alongside gun toting body guards allocated to her by virtue of her NRM CEC position, raided our ancestral home at 4am and forcefully began setting camp in guise of building a home just opposite my residence which is certainly a very serious security threat to me and my young family.
I called the clan leaders and Northern Division Security who she disregarded and continued with her work only stopping two days later when she realised her shenanigans had been captured by the Press and it was all over national media in which she swears to’sort me’once and for all.
