The lead mobiliser of Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Michael Nuwagira aka Toyota has called off the much planned MK’s Ankole Party slated for June 26 at Kakyeka grounds in Mbarara City.
Through his tag-team, “Team Chairman” Mr Toyota announced the cancellation of the event is as a result of Gen. Muhoozi’s busy schedule with national duties.
On June 14, the First Son didn’t turn in his home district Kirhura where Toyota and other supporters of the initiative had organized an event dubbed “MK Homecoming.”
Several celebrations have been organized by Toyota and other supporters of Muhoozi since April, which political analysts have perceived as stepping stone to amplifying Muhoozi’s political ambition.
For Mbarara’s event Muhoozi had personally instructed Toyota to liaise with music promoter Balaam Barugahara and singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool to fully take charge.
Toyota told this website that fans, well-wishers and diehards of the Commander of Land Forces should stay alert and wait for a communication of the new date for Mbarara bash.
