A number of women have Monday morning taken to the streets in Uganda’s capital, Kampala protesting their husbands’ behaviors.
These women carrying placards showed dissatisfaction two days after a video went viral on social media in which two high school female students warned married women that “we are coming back home for your men.”
Schools will break for first term holiday this week on Thursday.
“Our husbands no longer eat from home,” reads a message written on the placards.
The protesters also demanded that their husbands should take them for vacations in Dubai.
“Side chics spoiling our marriages.” “Kameeza (upkeep) money should be increased.”
