The Rwandan woman caught having sex in public in broad daylight has been arrested.
The young woman identified as Muhawenimana Colodine Mukamulenzi, 24 years, who was captured on video being a public nuisance on 03rd November 2021 along on the street in Kisoro Municipality is currently in custody together with the 29-year-old man Paskari Hafashimana in whose company she was.
Mukamurenzi only identified the man as 29-years-old Mufumbira, a resident of Migeshi village in Rwaramba parish.
The video of the pair engaging in sexual intercourse on the roadside opposite Kisoro Central Pharmacy, has made rounds on media and social media which has raised concerns and attracted the attention of authorities.
The couple has, according to Kigezi Police Spokesperson, Elly Maate, been arrested on charges of being a ‘public nuisance’.
In a video recorded at the police station Paskari said he was from a bar called ‘MU LINE’ where the lady, Mukamulenzi, had greeted him and made suggestive gestures after which she followed him back home at around 7pm. Apparently, they agreed to have sex and he gave the lady UGX 5,000, but along the way she changed her mind and wanted to go back. “I was from drinking, she came to me, greeted me and hugged me and I’m speaking the truth,” said the 29-year-old man.
From the video of the sexual act, it is obvious that the girl was attempting to run away and fight off the man but in vain, as he held her back and had sex with her in the open as they stood by the roadside.
