Fred Bamwesigye appointed Civil Aviation Authority Director General

Fred Bamwesigye the Director General of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA)

The Minister of Works and Transport Gen Edward Katumba has appointed Fred Bamwesigye the new Director General of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) on three year contract.

Bamwesigye’s appointment takes effect today October 1.

In the letter, Gen Katumba indicated that Bamwine is entitled to shs 30 million as salary, official car and security.

Bamwine, 54, has been serving as the acting director general of the entity for close to two years having worked as the Human Resource Manager in the past.

He replaces Prof. David Kakuba who retired last year.
