VIDEO: Men with Pangas attack UPDF Colonel in Nsangi in Broad daylight

Men with panga attack UPDF soldier

A UPDF officer at the rank of Colonel has been attacked by thugs in broad day light in Nsangi – Wakiso, district.

The attackers had pangas, axes, and sticks.

The soldier escaped narrowly and unhurt but the thugs vandalised his blue Toyota Premio shuttering the wind screen, side mirrors, all lights on top of dismantling all the glasses.

Having managed to drive away, the yet to be identified victim run to Nsangi police station and immediately filed a case on the matter.

The area police rushed to where the officer was attacked and arrested the suspects recovering two pangas, sticks and an axe in the process.

The suspects arrested are; Kigonya Jackson, Sunday Lungonvu, Alex Kyakwambala, Hampley Nakamya, Gertrude Nakagwe Rose, Nsubuga Bruce and Kiyega Ivan among others.

We have established that all suspects are residents of Nsangi general areas and are known by locals, area leaders and the victim.
