Lt. Gen. Pecos Kutesa, a former representative of UPDF in Parliament has Tuesday afternoon passed on.
Kutesa, according to UPDF publicist Brig. Flavia Byekwaso has been sick for sometime.
Ms Byekwaso confirmed the death of the bush war hero saying the army will issue a communication with more details.
“It is true. The gallant soldier has passed on,” she told this website.
Reports had earlier indicated that Gen. Kutesa had been rushed to India for specialized medical treatment.
Kuteesa was among 604 UPDF soldiers and 14 Generals who recently retired from the army.
