Gen. Moses Ali is sick in Turkey

The First Deputy Prime Minister, Moses Ali, was last week flown to Turkey to seek better medical treatment.

“He left the country early last week to Istanbul where he expects a more comprehensive examination and, afterwards, a longer relief from bad health,” said the official.

Officials from Gen. Ali’s office couldn’t neither confirm nor deny when reached for a comment.

They said they were not authorized to speak about the ‘General’s’ health.

“You can speak to him direct. He is a General,” said a staff.

However, Ali couldn’t be reached on his known phone number.

Another high-ranking government administrator who also asked not to be named said Gen. Ali has been frail for sometime, “But I didn’t know he is away.”
