WANTED: Here is Dr Baguma who Sold fake Covid jabs to 800 Ugandans

State House has a released photo of Dr Francis Baguma who allegedly sold over 800 fake Covid Vaccines to Ugandans.

According to the head State House Health Monitoring Unit, Dr Wallen Naamara, some of the recipients of these fake jabs have since died.

Dr Naamara, working closely with other security organs; Police and Military Intelligence arrested nurses from Nakawa- Kiswa Health Center who were found charging people between shs 100,000 and 200,000 to administer the vaccine.

The raid was conducted on June 17 following concerns from the public.

On Tuesday, security arrested more two nurses who revealed that they were working for the masterminder Dr Baguma who remains at large.

State House has since released his identity and also phone numbers to the public to ease communicate in case anyone has information related to the wanted medic.

State House retrieved a record of different offices and companies where Baguma and his accomplices carried out the vaccination exercise.

Some of the companies include; Dott Services, Diamond Trust Bank, Bank of Africa, Uganda Baati, Madhvani, Seven Hills, Dot Maxs Packaging and more than 800 individuals were found to have been recorded as recipients of the fake vaccine.

In an effort to seek a comment from the above mentioned entities only Dott Services responded.

A top official of Dott Services said that, the company is not a health facility where Covid jabs are administered from.

“If any of our workers received the fake vaccine from somewhere, then that is not our issue,” he said. Adding that the management has now embarked on looking for employees who could have been victims of the scam for further management.

“Otherwise, we didn’t hire anyone to vaccinate our staff.”
