Errant Mityana Municipality MP Hon Francis Zaake has been appointed appointed Commissioner of Parliament in the latest appointments by National Unity Platform (NUP) as leading opposition party in Parliament.
The party appointed Hon Mathias Mpuuga as new Leader of Parliament, John Baptiste Nambeshe the Opposition Chief Whip and Medard Ssegona as Public Accounts Committee Chairperson.
In other appointments, Asuman Basalirwa will deputise Ssegona, Joel Ssenyonyi as Chairman COSASE, he will be deputized by Lucy Akello and Betty Namboze is the new chairperson Government Assurances.
