The SFC commander Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has Monday received his second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine.
Muhoozi is among the first Ugandans who got vaccinated immediately after the arrival of vaccine despite claims that the drug had not met required world health standards. This claims was dismissed by World Health Organization and also Ministry of Health.
President Museveni who also got his first jab said he will lift lockdown if 5.5 million Ugandans vaccinate against Covid-19.
In his brief Twitter statement, Mr Kainerugaba said; “this morning I received my second dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine. I thank our medical department within the UPDF that continues to vaccinate soldiers and their families.”
