Lindah Nabusayi has been appointed senior Presidential press secretary, replacing Don Wanyama who will be leaving State House at the end of the month.

President Yoweri Museveni appointed Mr Wanyama as New Vision CEO. He succeeded Robert Kabushenga who worked at industrial area for 14 years.

Nabusayi, according to reports was elevated since she has been deputizing Wanyama.

Nabusayi was in 2015 appointed as the Presidential Press Secretary to replace Tamale Mirundi. Until that point, she had served as deputy press secretary.

Reports indicated that a couple of veteran journalists, Simon Kaheru, Chris Obore, Andrew Mwenda and others had been working covertly to get the job.
