The Royal Family of Buganda has admitted that the King His Highness Ronald Muwenda Mutebi has had challenges with his health over a period of time.
The family was prompted to clear air on speculation which has made rounds on social media triggered by the Kabaka’s uneasiness during his 66 birthday celebrations at the palace in Mengo.
However, the Royal Family in a statement signed by four princesses didn’t indicate what exactly is the Kabaka suffering from.

Following Ssabasajja Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II’s public appearance on 13 April 2021 to mark his 66th birthday, social media has been awash with speculation regarding his health and wellbeing.
Ssabasajja has been unwell for a while. However, he has responded well to the prescribed medication and his medical team is positive about his prognosis.
The Royal Family would like to express their gratitude to the public for their good wishes as well as for their concern towards Ssabasajja Kabaka.
