“Today, I’ve started a journey, one that I’ll walk with my one & only Rachael. A good reception is what we received from Rukungiri.” Blaise Kamugisha excitedly tweeted on February 5, 2017.
A day he was accompanied by friends and other prominent Ugandans including former IGP Gen. Kale Kayihura to pick Rachael Kairabo, a woman he had chosen to be with for the rest of his life.
A few days later, Mr Kamugisha and Rachael were pronounced husband and wife by the church in Kampala, the couple later hosted its guests in a pompous ceremony held at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
Kamugisha and his dangerously beautiful wife ever since lived happily together and embraced two children.
However, a close family friend said that mid last year, something strange began happening to Kamugisha.
“He started behaving strangely to his wife. He was rude and started to deliberately forget his responsibilities,” said a family friend.
It later emerged that Mr Kamugisha was seeing a new girl.
“We didn’t think things would be as serious as they are. We all thought it is the usual cheating me do.”
A separate source further divulged to this website that late last year, Mr Kamugisha asked divorce from his wife and has since relocated to a new house with the new catch whom plans to wed.
“What has delayed wedding is the fact that he has not secured divorce from his first wife,” said a source.
To prove his love for the new lover, Mr Kamugisha opened up an Instagram account which he floods with photos.
In all the pictures he has taken lately, Kamugisha has no wedding ring in any of his fingers, an implication that he is not married.
When contacted, Blaise Kamugisha did not respond to our Whatsapp messages.
His wife Rachael Kirabo told this website that she is unaware of the allegations. “I don’t know anything,” she said before switching off the phone.
