Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, a singer turned Uganda’s powerful opposition leader had a campaign message to his youthful supporters, “all the youth out there can be like Bobi Wine.”
That inspirational quote has since motivated many including Mosh Sendi, a 39- year- old LC5 councillor of Makindye division.
Sendi, popularly known as Mr Mosh has been into entertainment industry since he was 21.
Mr Mosh is a veteran singer who at one time dominated the local chats with his popular song Diigi, however, he switched to radio hosting and has for the last eight years worked at Galaxy FM and Spark TV for four years.
He has emceed uncountable music concerts wooing crowds with his manufactured Ugandan-patois.
Until 2020 when Mosh expressed interest in representing the people of Makindye Division as LC5 councillor, a seat he won in January with ease due to his alliance with Kyagulanyi.
On Friday 19th February, Lord Councillor Mosh announced his retiring from radio and TV due to “unavoidable circumstances.”
But his associates said, Mosh has picked an inspiration from Kawempe North lawmaker Mohammad Ssegirinya whose journey to the August House began as radio caller.
Both are attached to National Unity Platform, the new powerful opposition party
