Three Nigerian celebrities; Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems and Muyiwa Awomiyi have been charged by Makindye Court and remanded until Wednesday, December 16.

They have been remanded on charges of Negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious diseases C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.

Omah Lay and Tems were arrested on Sunday after performing at Ddungu Resort on Saturday night in an illegal concert.

Benjamin Kabura the organizer of this music show and Ivan Ddungu, the manager of Ddungu Resort have also been charged.

Police said the earlier plans of releasing them on police bond, were suspended after their case file was sanctioned by the Office of the DPP.

Omah Lay and his co-accused (men) have been sent to Kitalya Prison while Tems (woman) was sent to Kigo Prison.

They reappear in Court on Wednesday.
