MP Kasibante fighting for his Life at Case Clinic after Testing positive for COVID

MP Kasibante is admitted at Case

Rubaga North MP Moses Kasibante has been rushed to Case Clinic in Kampala City after he developed breathing difficulties.

He was admitted last night at the facility.

Kasibante has since tested Positive for COVID-19 and has been administered on treatment immediately.

A relative who accompanied the legislator to hospital said, he was in critical condition.

At first the family thought he had been poisoned after developing a sporadic attack.

On Tuesday Uganda registered 1119 new cases and 12 deaths the highest record numbers since the country announced its first infection.

Kampala has been marked by the Ministry of Health as an epicenter of the pandemic as scores of citizens continue to test positive.

The condition worsened as a section of politicians rejected to comply with Ministry of Health’s SOPs in the ongoing political campaigns.

Kasibante is seeking a reelection for Rubaga North Constituency and was among the politicians that defied COVID-19 guidelines.

The Minister of health Jane Aceng said Uganda is in stage four of the pandemic where citizens must take health precautions like washing hands, wearing face mask and observing social distancing. very seriously
