SAD NEWS: Sheikh Muzaata Succumbs to COVID

RIP: Muzaata

A prominent Muslim Sheikh Nooh Muzaata Batte has Friday breathed his last at IHK in Namwongo, Kampala.

The controversial Muslim cleric has been admitted in an isolation unit at the facility for close to two weeks as he battled COVID-19.

After his admission, Muzaata’s security was beefed up and only the doctors and a few of his family members could access him.

Reports at first had suggested that Muzaata was poisoned which the family refuted.

This website understands that IHK took blood samples of Muzaata to establish his COVID-19 status.

However, the Hospital declined to reveal the patient’s details because it violates the code of conduct.

There are surging cases of COVID in Kampala especially during the election season.

More details follow..
