The NRM Presidential candidate has for the first time addressed his supporters who gathered at Busia Main Market on Tuesday.
President Yoweri Museveni was in Busia campaigning ahead of 2021 as he seeks reelection for 6 term in office.
Museveni shortly after launching the multi-billion market built by the Local Government interacted with his supporters who assembled in large numbers to listen to him.
He, however, cautioned them against disregarding the COVID-19 SOPs.
President Museveni has previously rejected to addresses his fans who consistently flock his campaign venues in areas he has so far covered in Uganda.
The President said it would be suicidal to addresses these people in times of the pandemic, unlike what his competitors do.
He said those encouraging their supporters to congregate are not leaders but enemies.
