People Power diehards in Ankole Region have given Hon Robert Kyagulanyi a new name “Musinguzi” which means victor.
In a function held at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara City on Saturday, Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine was launching his campaign manifesto.
Bobi Wine addressed the gathering and some of the elders who spoke before his address told him that they had chosen to call him Musinguzi since he is already the winner of the Presidential polls slated for January 14 2021.
He immediately adopted the name and said he would use it wherever he goes.
Authorities warned Mr ‘Musinguzi’ to observe the Electoral Commission guidelines by making sure that only 70 people should attend the manifesto launch.
Police barred other of his supporters who wanted to access the venue.
