Moses Kasibante, the incumbent MP for Rubaga Division North has been denied the flag by National Unity Platform to contest for the same constituency in the coming elections.
The Executive Board of NUP which has been vetting the candidates has instead handed the flag to Abubakar Kawalya, the speaker of KCCA.
NUP and its foster parent People Power are led by Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, who already declared his bid for president.
Other candidates who have been successfully endorsed to represent NUP in Kampala include; Muhammad Ssegirinya, Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira and Allan Ssewanyana for Kawempe North, Kawempe South and Makindye West respectively.
