The NRM Electoral Commission has Friday announced Jovrine Kaliisa winner of NRM primaries for Ibanda Woman MP.
Kaliisa contested the victory of her rival Jane Bainomugisha who was declared by the NRM returning officer on September 4.
Kaliisa shockingly conceded defeat after losing the election by 100 votes.
She however, petitioned NRM Electoral Commission citing several multi practices.
After conducting investigations and recounting the votes NRM Electoral Commission decided that Kaliisa is the duly elected Woman MP for Ibanda.
