Provisional results trickling in from Sembabule District indicate that Godfrey Aine Kaguta alias Sodo is still leading the race for Mawogola North NRM primary election.
According to some of the results obtained by this website, Sodo defeated his closest rival Shatsi Musherure Kutesa on her polling station known as Bisese.
Shatsi, the daughter of Foreign Minister Sam Kutesa garnered 327 votes while Sodo, the brother of President Yoweri Museveni got 353 votes.
